A Journey of Grace and Devotion

Anitha's journey with Bharatanrityam began in the warm glow of her grandmother's living room, where she first witnessed the magic of classical Indian dance. At the age of seven, she enrolled under the tutelage of her beloved guru and has since devoted herself entirely to the art.

Over more than fifteen years of training, Anitha has mastered not only the intricate footwork (nritta) and expressive storytelling (abhinaya) of Bharatanrityam, but also its deeper spiritual dimensions — understanding dance as an offering to the divine.

She has performed at numerous cultural events and competitions, earning recognition for her precision, expressiveness, and innate musicality. Her Arangetram marks the culmination of years of rigorous practice and the beginning of her journey as a solo performing artist.

Beyond the stage, Anitha is passionate about sharing the art of Bharatanrityam with younger generations and hopes to teach in the years to come.
